Wildebeest Migration Photo Tour

Join us for a photo tour of the Wildebeest Migration in the Maasai Mara in Kenya! Every year, between July and September, more than one million wildebeest migrate from Tanzania to the Mara. It is one of the wildlife spectacles of the world. During the migration, the wildebeest must cross hazardous crocodile-filled rivers and graze on plains full of big cats.

This tour focuses on the Great Migration, but we also take the opportunity to photograph the big cats who follow the migration at this time of year to hunt and raise their families.

Itinerary

We ensure our days are focused on river crossings, to capture the incredible spectacle, and will also follow opportunities to photograph other wildlife that we see. We will spend all day in the field if needed to maximise these opportunities and to capture great wildlife images.

What is included in the tour cost:

• call prior to your departure, with John Haskew, to run through preparations, kit and ensure you are ready to start photographing before arriving
• Meeting on arrival at Nairobi and transfer to hotel on the first night
• Bed and breakfast at the hotel on the first night 
• All road transfers and internal flights in Kenya
• Full board accommodation for the duration of the stay in Kenya
• House wines, beers, local spirits and soft drinks
• Park fees
• Community fees
• Experienced, qualified local guide

Not included in the tour cost:

• International flights to Nairobi  (BA  flights  recommended if flying from the  UK)
